1- Initial Consultation: it all begins with an initial site visit where we take time to understand your vision, lifestyle, function requirements and overall project goals.
2- Concept development: we begin developing the creative direction for your project.
3- Design development: once the concept has been approved, we refine and develop the design in greater detail.
4- Presentation and refinement: we present the developed design for review and feedback. This allows us to refine the selections and ensure that the final design aligns with your vision, requirements and investment expectations.
5- Procurement and ordering: once the design has been approved, we coordinate the procurement on your behalf.
6- Installation and styling: the final stage is where the project comes together. We oversee installation and complete the finishing details through considered styling and placement.
Our interior design team is led by Claudia Anelli Lane, co-owner & Interior Designer
Born in Rome, Italy, Claudia originally studied languages and law before moving to Sydney in the mid 1990's. In Sydney she studied interior design at the International School of Colour and Design (ISCD), Willoughby campus, graduating in 2004. Claudia received the school’s Award for Excellence in Creativity, Colour and Design, and was runner-up in the ISCD 21st birthday logo competition. Together with her partner Andrew, Claudia co-founded Caldesign in 2004. Since then, she has created and styled countless beautiful interiors and contributed to the success of the studio’s landscape projects. Claudia continues to collaborate with local architects, designers, and builders on a wide variety of projects, ranging from private homes to commercial spaces and educational environments.
